Report: Shrewsbury Town knocked back in Chris Dagnall bid

Leyton Orient reject two deadline-day bids from Shrewsbury Town for striker Chris Dagnall, according to reports.

Shrewsbury Town have reportedly seen two deadline-day bids for Leyton Orient striker Chris Dagnall rejected.

The League Two leaders are said to be keen on the 28-year-old to boost their prospects of earning automatic promotion back into the third tier.

Dagnall, who joined Orient last January, has netted seven League One goals this season and, according to the Daily Mail, Salop will return with one final bid before the 11pm deadline.

His contract expires in 2016.
