Sheffield Wednesday sign Alex Lopez from Celta Vigo on a season-long loan.

Alex Lopez has become the latest player to sign for Sheffield Wednesday, moving to the Owls on a season-long loan deal from Celta Vigo.

The 27-year-old Spaniard is Wednesday's second signing of the day following the arrival of Ross Wallace earlier.

Lopez joins the Owls from La Liga side Celta Vigo, where he has scored 22 goals in 164 appearances.

Wednesday begin the 2015-16 Championship season under new head coach Carlos Carvalhal with a home game against newly-promoted Bristol City on Saturday, August 8.
