Sevilla target Sweden Under-21 international John Guidetti?

A report in Spain suggests that Sevilla are hoping to sign former Manchester City forward John Guidetti on a free transfer.

Europa League champions Sevilla are reportedly eager to sign John Guidetti.

The 23-year-old, who spent most of last season on loan with Celtic, was recently made a free agent by Manchester City.

A number of clubs have been linked with the Sweden Under-21 international, but it is Sevilla that lead the race for his signature, according to AS.

The report adds that head coach Unai Emery has identified Guidetti as the ideal replacement for Carlos Bacca, who is expected to join AC Milan in the near future.

It is anticipated that Guidetti will lead the Swedish attack during tonight's Under-21 European Championships final against Portugal.
