Report: Gael Kakuta nearing Sevilla deal

Chelsea midfielder Gael Kakuta is poised to seal a Bosman switch to Sevilla shortly, according to reports.

Chelsea midfielder Gael Kakuta is reportedly on the verge of joining Sevilla.

The 23-year-old, whose contract expires this summer, had courted interest from a host of clubs on the continent - including Aston Villa and AC Milan.

However, Kakuta will join up with coach Unai Emery in Seville by signing a four-year deal, according to French publication Foot Mercato.

The club's president Jose Castro revealed that confirmation of the deal was just hours away on Tuesday.

Kakuta has endured six loan spells since 2010, where he joined the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Fulham and Lazio, along with Rayo Vallecano last season.
