Team News: Robert Snodgrass starts for Scotland

Robert Snodgrass starts for Scotland against Croatia despite a lack of training in the build-up to the game.

Scotland will have Robert Snodgrass in the starting lineup to face Croatia at Hampden Park, despite having very little preparation for the game since becoming a father.

Meanwhile, Motherwell left-back Steven Hammell will have to wait before earning his second cap as he is named among the substitutes.

Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has already pulled out of the squad with a groin problem.

Croatia coach Igor Stimac came into this game with nine players only a yellow card from suspension but has decided to field six of those, including Real Madrid's Luka Modric and Bayern Munich forward Mario Mandzukic.

The visitors are guaranteed second spot in Group F, but may need a win to ensure a playoff place.

Scotland: McGregor, Hutton, Martin, Hanley, Mulgrew, Bannan, Brown, Morrison, Anya, Snodgrass, Naismith

Croatia: Pletikosa, Strinic, Corluka, Lovren, Vida, Vukojevic, Modric, Srna, Kranjcar, Kalinic, Mandzukic
