Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has expressed his disappointment at his side's 2-1 home defeat to Wales.

Grant Hanley headed the Scots in front on the stroke of half time, but the game changed in the visitors' favour on 71 minutes, when Robert Snodgrass brought down Chris Gunter in the penalty area.

Snodgrass was sent off for collecting his second yellow card and Aaron Ramsey levelled the scores from the resultant spot-kick.

Hal Robson-Kanu nodded home from Andy King's cross to net the Welsh winner moments later.

"We never got reorganised before the second goal went in," said Strachan. "It was that quick. We didn't have time to make changes or get any subs on and that's killed us.

"The midfield don't really know each other and they way Wales started spooked us. They were excellent at the start of the match.

"But the game turned our way and the second half was an excellent start for us. It's hugely disappointing."

Scotland currently sit bottom of World Cup Qualifying Group A with just two points from five games.
