Pat Nevin: 'Gordon Strachan has made watching Scotland enjoyable'

Former Scotland winger Pat Nevin says that Gordon Strachan has made watching the national team enjoyable again since he became manager.

Former Scotland winger Pat Nevin has said that watching the national team under the management of former international teammate Gordon Strachan has become enjoyable again.

Scotland have won eight of their 16 matches since former skipper Strachan took over in January 2013.

The Scots have also made an encouraging start to Euro 2016 qualification, taking seven points from their first four games.

"It has been an incredible improvement under Gordon. He has been fantastic and he gets the best out of the players," Nevin told BBC Radio 5 live.

"They are playing in a very positive way and every Scotsman now enjoys watching Scotland - we used to suffer watching Scotland."

Strachan's men take on England in a friendly at Celtic Park tonight.
