Steve Evans: 'Ben Pringle not for sale'

There is "no chance" of Ben Pringle leaving Rotherham United, according to Steve Evans.

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has revealed that Ben Pringle will not be sold, despite interest from Championship clubs.

Reading have been linked with the midfielder, 24, and while Evans admits that the player is attracting interest, he says that there is "no chance" of him leaving.

"There's been interest in Ben Pringle but he isn't going to go anywhere," Evans is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"That has been made very clear to two managers who have enquired about him.

"There is not a chance on this planet that we are going to lose a player who we categorise as one of our top guys."

However, Evans also concedes that every player has their price.

He added: "Any player at this football club is for sale, depending on the offer."

Pringle has been with Rotherham since joining from Derby County in 2011.
