Alan Stubbs confirmed as Rotherham United boss

Rotherham United confirm Alan Stubbs as their new manager with John Doolan as assistant.

Rotherham United have confirmed Alan Stubbs as their new manager with John Doolan serving as his assistant.

In a statement on their website, the Millers confirmed that the pair, who had been working together at Hibernian, have penned three-year deals after quitting their roles at the Scottish Championship side.

It added: "The club will be officially confirming Alan and John at a press conference to be arranged in due course."

Stubbs and Doolan will succeed Neil Warnock, who decided to leave the club at the end of the season after steering them out of the relegation zone to nine points clear by the end of the season.
