Report: Alan Stubbs agrees to leave Hibernian to take over at Rotherham United

Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs reportedly agrees a three-year deal to take charge of Rotherham United.

Alan Stubbs has reportedly agreed to take over at Rotherham United, just 10 days after guiding Hibernian to Scottish Cup victory.

The Scottish Championship club confirmed yesterday that they have "reluctantly" agreed to allow Rotherham to hold talks with their manager.

The club made it clear in a statement that they initially rebuffed the Championship club's advances, but a meeting went ahead after Stubbs expressed an interest to speak to the Millers.

Now, according to Sky Sports News, the 44-year-old has agreed a three-year deal to take charge at New York Stadium.

Stubbs took charge of Hibernian in 2014 and failed to guide the team to the top flight after losing in the playoffs, but this season he helped break a 114-year hoodoo by guiding the team to the Scottish Cup.
