Report: Alfred Finnbogason to leave Real Sociedad on loan

A report claims that Real Sociedad will allow Iceland forward Alfred Finnbogason to leave on loan this summer.

Alfred Finnbogason will reportedly be allowed to leave Real Sociedad on loan this summer after struggling to adapt to life in San Sebastian.

The 26-year-old joined Sociedad last summer having struck 59 goals in 70 games for Heerenveen over the course of two seasons.

However, the Iceland international managed just two league goals for Sociedad during the 2014-15 season and according to AS, head coach David Moyes is prepared to sanction a loan move for the new campaign.

A host of clubs from Belgium and France have been credited with an interest in the forward, who has scored five times in 25 appearances for his country.
