Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has hinted that he may retire from international football with Spain after the World Cup.
The Los Blancos man has been capped 110 times by La Roja, and was part of the squads that won the European Championships in 2008 and 2012 as well as the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The Mirror quotes him as saying: "I haven't decided whether I will quit Spain.
"I'm really focused on the World Cup and it depends how I feel after the tournament.
"I'll decide then. If my body responds and I feel as though I want to continue, then I'll continue."
Spain begin the defence of their title against the Netherlands on Friday.
