Real Madrid reportedly have no chance of signing Kylian Mbappe on the cheap this summer as Paris Saint-Germain intend to dig their heels in.

Paris Saint-Germain would reportedly rather let Kylian Mbappe leave on a free contract in 2022 than sell him to Real Madrid on the cheap this summer.

Madrid continue to be linked with the prolific French striker, despite the financial implications caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Mbappe's valuation is said to have dropped from €200m (£173.9m) to €35m (£30.4m) as a result of the crisis, which is forcing clubs to rethink their transfer business for the next few windows.

According to Spanish outlet AS, however, there is no chance of Madrid snapping up the 21-year-old on the cheap as PSG are digging their heels in.

The French giants allegedly have no intention of selling their prized asset unless a substantial offer is tabled, having watched his stock continue to rise since his £166m arrival from Monaco in 2017.

Mbappe scored 29 goals in 32 games in all competitions this season prior to the campaign being halted by the coronavirus outbreak last month.
