Florentino Perez: 'Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to leave Real Madrid'

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists that Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to leave the club.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has dismissed reports that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club.

The Portuguese forward said on Sunday that he is "unhappy with some people" at Madrid, and reports in the media have since suggested that he could be on his way out.

"If he wanted to leave, he would have said so when the transfer window was still open," Marca quotes Perez as saying.

"There are other reasons behind it."

Ronaldo is currently on international duty with Portugal for their 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg and Azerbaijan.
