Mateo Kovacic completes Real Madrid move

Real Madrid have confirmed the arrival of Mateo Kovacic from Inter Milan.

Recent reports claimed that talks between the two clubs regarding the Croatian midfielder were at an advanced stage, with a fee in the region of £21m having been mooted.

The deal has now been finalised, which has allowed the 21-year-old to undergo a medical at the Bernabeu.

Kovacic will be unveiled to the media tomorrow, when he will sign a six-year contract with the 10-time champions of Europe.
