Eduardo Camavinga has admitted that he is flattered by links to Real Madrid, but the teenager has insisted that he is enjoying life at Rennes.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene in the 2019-20 campaign, making 25 Ligue 1 appearances for Rennes as Julien Stephan's side finished third in the table and secured Champions League qualification.
Camavinga has since been the subject of reported interest from La Liga champions Real, but the teenage protege has no regrets over his decision to remain at Rennes.
"It's obvious that it's a compliment when a great club is interested in you, but I'm not getting carried away," Camavinga told Telefoot.
"I have made this decision with my family and we are happy to have decided in this way. Now what I need is to think about football and not look at everything else. Life is very beautiful right now."
Camavinga already has one goal and one assist to show from three Ligue 1 outings in the 2020-21 campaign, and Stephan's side are currently top of the table following a draw with Lille and wins over Nimes and Montpellier.
