Carlos Santillana praises Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Real Madrid striker Carlos Santillana believes that Cristiano Ronaldo will break every scoring record with Los Blancos.

Former Real Madrid striker Carlos Santillana believes that Cristiano Ronaldo will break every scoring record with the Spanish club.

The Portuguese recently surpassed Ferenc Puskas on the scoring list at Madrid and is now just 46 goals short of Santillana, who registered 289 for the capital outfit.

"Cristiano Ronaldo can reach them all. It's normal [for him]. At my time it was unthinkable for a player to hit 50 goals in a season," he told Goal.com.

"What [Lionel] Messi and Ronaldo are doing is crazy. You have to enjoy it.

"Ronaldo will catch them all - first me, but then [Alfredo] Di Stefano, Raul, everyone. Madrid will benefit, with the goals, the points, the knockout games... He will break all records, I'm convinced."

Ronaldo has scored 243 goals in 237 games for Los Blancos.
