Roberto Carlos has confirmed that he will play in the Indian Super League later this year.
The 42-year-old has not played a professional match since he departed Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in 2012.
However, the former Real Madrid left-back has revealed that he has accepted a player-manager role with the Delhi Dynamos.
"I would like to play. I am looking forward to this stint as an opportunity to impart new playing techniques to players, hone their skills," Carlos told reporters.
"I am humbled by the immense support from Indian fans which motivated me to come here and play for Delhi Dynamos."
The second ISL campaign will get underway in early October.
