Roberto Carlos wants Brazil job

Former Brazil defender Roberto Carlos reveals that he wants to manage his national team in the future.

Roberto Carlos has revealed that his "objective" is become head coach of the Brazilian national team.

The 42-year-old, who is regarded as one of the left full-backs in the history of the sport, represented Brazil between 1992 and 2006.

The former Real Madrid defender retired from professional football in 2012, but has since had managerial jobs at Sivasspor and Akhisar Belediyespor.

"My objective is to coach the national team," he told Folha de Sao Paulo. "I know I have a long way to go yet and for that reason I won't put a timeframe on how long it will take."

Current Brazil boss Dunga took charge of the Selecao after the 2014 World Cup.
