Florentino Perez: 'Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with Madrid'

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez claims that Cristiano Ronaldo will see out his playing days with the club.

Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with the club for the remainder of his career.

Perez said that Ronaldo was the finest player in the world, and tipped the Portuguese star to stay with Los Blancos to see out the rest of his playing days with the club.

"We are immensely proud that Cristiano Ronaldo is with us - he will spend the rest of his career at Real Madrid," Perez told reporters.

"He is the greatest player on the planet, and one of the greatest of all time. Furthermore, we have strengthened with the acquisition of Gareth Bale who has twice been named player of the year in the Premier League.

"They are all managed by Carlo Ancelotti, who is a recognised winner. He comes with the necessary experience to lead this impressive team and he is able to call on the invaluable assistance of Zinedine Zidane."

Ancelotti's side are currently third in La Liga.
