Real Madrid defender Marcelo has said that "of course" his team miss Cristiano Ronaldo, with "the best player in the world" now turning out for Juventus following a summer move to Turin.
Ronaldo scored 450 times in 438 appearances for Madrid before switching to Juventus ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Los Blancos have won both of their La Liga matches at the start of the new campaign - including a 4-1 victory over Girona in Catalonia on Sunday night.
Marcelo paid tribute to Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema following their goals against Girona, but the Brazilian has conceded that his team are still missing Ronaldo.
"Cristiano is the best player in the world and of course he's missed, but Bale and Benzema are also very good," Marcelo told reporters.
Ronaldo netted 44 times in 44 matches in all competitions for Madrid during the 2017-18 season.
