Jordi Alba hails "emotional" win

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba praises his side following Sunday's 4-3 win over Real Madrid.

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba believes that his side were "deserving winners" against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Sunday evening.

Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick as Barca won El Clasico 4-3, with the result moving the current champions to just one point of the top of the La Liga table.

"It was a really emotional game and we're deserving winners. We started well and then they were in the lead. We reacted well and we've taken an important win," he told reporters.

"We've had much of the ball, we stuck together, we pressured well and in attack, we've done a lot of damage."

Madrid have taken just one point from four games against Barcelona and Atletico Madrid this season.
