Team News: Karim Benzema starts for Real Madrid in Champions League QF clash against Wolfsburg

Karim Benzema overcomes a knee injury to start for Real Madrid in tonight's Champions League quarter-final showdown against Wolfsburg.

Karim Benzema has overcome a knee injury to start for Real Madrid in this evening's Champions League quarter-final showdown against Wolfsburg at the Bernabeu.

The forward suffered the injury during last week's first leg, which ended in a 2-0 defeat to the German outfit, and was left out of last weekend's La Liga action.

However, head coach Zinedine Zidane has opted to start Benzema, who will join a three-pronged attack including Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Zidane has made just one change from the first leg last week, with Dani Carvajal returning to take Danilo's place at right-back.

Visitors Wolfsburg, meanwhile, go with the same XI that opened up a lead to take to Spain.

Real Madrid: Navas; Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo; Casemiro, Modric, Kroos; Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema
Subs: Kiko Casilla, Varane, James, Lucas, Jese, Isco, Danilo

Wolfsburg: Benaglio; Vieirinha, Naldo, Dante, Rodriguez; Gustavo, Guilavogui; Draxler, Henrique, Arnold; Schurrle
Subs: Casteels, Knoche, Trasch, Schafer, Caliguiri, Kruse, Dost
