Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski will be fit for Real Madrid game

Robert Lewandowski insists that he will recover from his thigh injury in time for Borussia Dortmund's Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has said that he will be fit for his side's Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The Poland international has been struggling with a thigh injury that he picked up during Dortmund's 2-0 win against Mainz in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

"My appearance on Wednesday is not doubtful," he wrote on his official Facebook page. "The muscle is dense, but I will be fit for the match against Real!"

Dortmund will host Madrid in the first leg of their semi-final clash.
