Reading target Cameron Jerome?

Reading manager Nigel Adkins is reportedly prepared to part with £3m to land Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome.

Championship side Reading are reportedly keen to sign Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome.

The 27-year-old made 30 appearances last season, but a large majority of those were from the bench.

As a result, Reading manager Nigel Adkins, who is eager to boost his attacking options before the end of the window, is prepared to offer the centre-forward regular starting action at the Madejski Stadium, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The report added that Adkins would be willing to part with £3m to land the former England Under-21 international.

Jerome joined Stoke in 2011 from Birmingham City.
