Rangers youngster Craig Halkett has moved on loan to Berwick until the end of November.
The 20-year-old made his debut for the Borderers during their 4-1 loss to Montrose on Saturday.
Halkett was believed to be on the verge of making his Rangers debut due to an injury shortage at Ibrox but Mark Warburton has decided that the central defender requires more experience.
The Scotland Under-19 player made 12 appearances on loan at Clyde last season and scored in the Scottish FA Youth Cup final in 2014.
