Ryan Hardie agrees new deal at Rangers

Scottish Championship outfit Rangers hand a new two-year contract to young centre-forward Ryan Hardie.

Young striker Ryan Hardie has signed a new contract with Scottish Championship side Rangers.

The 18-year-old, who made his senior debut last season, has committed himself to Ibrox for the next two years.

"He's a goalscorer. People may laugh and joke if it comes off his knee or his shin, but that's what he does," manager Mark Warburton told the club's official website.

"He needs to work at his game, but we have been delighted with him. He works every day with the first team, he has a great attitude around the place and he is well liked.

"We are thrilled to have him long term and I'm sure he will go on to be a very strong player for Rangers."

The Scotland youth international joined the Gers at the age of 12.
