Highly sought-after Nikica Jelavic has been left out of the Glasgow Rangers squad for today's Scottish Premier League match with Motherwell.
The Croatian international has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Ibrox during the ongoing transfer window, with West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers said to be interested.
Reports are suggesting that the 26-year-old was spared an appearance today in order to avoid an injury that could scupper a potential transfer.
His place in the starting lineup has been taken by David Healy.
