Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has revealed that five first-team players will miss Wednesday's Scottish Premiership trip to St Johnstone.
January signings Aaron Ramsey and Amad Diallo are both ruled out, the former having endured a difficult start to life at Ibrox due to injury, but Van Bronckhorst is hopeful the midfielder "will join the team very soon."
Steven Davis, Ryan Jack and Filip Helander are also sidelined for the midweek game at McDiarmid Park due to injury.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Van Bronckhorst said: "Ramsey, Davis, Amad, Jack and Helander are not available for tomorrow. Hopefully [Ramsey] will join the team very soon.
"He is already working out on the pitch again. He is very disappointed and looking forward to a return. Helander and Jack should be back for the weekend, Amad next week."
Van Bronckhorst has also spoken about Rangers' recent league form and has urged his side to be more ruthless in front of goal.
"We need to get the three points. We are disappointed with the weekend but we have to react and get the three points tomorrow," the Dutchman added.
"We have got to convert our chances into goals. This is a point we need to improve and we are working on this. We have to be more ruthless in attack and defend better in our remaining matches.
"Hopefully, tomorrow we see a difference. I know the club and understand this comes with pressure and questions. For me, the most important thing is to be clear on our path and how we want to play as a team.
"Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, that is the beauty of football. We still have ten games to go and we are there for the fight."
Rangers have won only three of their last eight Premiership matches, a poor run of form which has seen them slip three points behind rivals Celtic at the summit.
