Queen of the South striker Nicky Clark reveals that he is nearing a move to Rangers.

Queen of the South striker Nicky Clark has revealed that he is close to completing a move to Rangers.

The 21-year-old was recently voted the Scottish Second Division Player of the Year thanks to his record haul of 41 goals during the campaign.

"I have met [manager Ally McCoist] already and we talked over his plans and it's exciting to be in them," Clark told the Evening Times.

"I am hoping to meet him again at Ibrox next week and hopefully get the deal signed and realise my dream of becoming a Rangers player for the next few seasons."

Clark joined Queen of the South from Peterhead in 2011.
