Championship side Nottingham Forest are reportedly keen to sign Queens Park Rangers attacker Jamie Mackie.
The Scotland international has recently been linked with Cardiff City, but as yet the Bluebirds have not firmed up their reported interest with an offer.
That has alerted Forest manager Billy Davies, who would like to take the 27-year-old to the City Ground before the start of the upcoming campaign, according to The People.
However, it is believed that Davies's opposite number, Harry Redknapp, is eager to keep Mackie at Loftus Road.
Mackie has made 85 appearances for the R's, scoring 18 goals in the process.
