The agent of Livingston defender Coll Donaldson has confirmed that the club are in talks with Queens Park Rangers over a move for the player.
The 18-year-old defender, who is regarded as one of the best youth prospects in Scotland, is said to have impressed manager Harry Redknapp during a trial spell last month and Jim Sherry is optimistic that a deal will be finalised between the two clubs soon.
"The two clubs are in talks and Queens Park Rangers are very keen to sign Coll," Sherry told Sky Sports News.
"Coll did well while on trial down there and Harry Redknapp wants him on board. A number of clubs have shown an interest in Coll, but QPR are in pole position to get him."
Donaldson, who is a Scotland Under-19 international, has previously spent time on trial at Manchester United.
