The left-back reportedly put pen to paper on a deal at Loftus Road on Thursday evening.
"Taye Taiwo from AC Milan, signing for the R's. Was very good when I seen him for Marseille. Good news," he tweeted.
The 26-year-old is the first signing for new manager Mark Hughes after he took over at Loftus Road earlier this month.
