Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand has revealed that he was in the original lineup of boyband JLS.
The 27-year-old is childhood friends with JLS singer Marvin Humes, and Ferdinand has admitted that the pair used to sing together.
"We were the original JLS. We used to sing a lot together when we were younger and do talent competitions. We had a group of friends that used to go round each other's houses and sing," Ferdinand told The Mirror.
The England Under-21 star also failed to rule out switching to singing once his football career comes to an end. He added: "I'd definitely like to think about a collaboration with them in the future."
Ferdinand will hope to be in action when QPR host Liverpool in the Premier League on Wednesday.
