PSV Eindhoven to offer Zakaria Bakkali bumper contract

PSV Eindhoven will tie Zakaria Bakkali down to a longer contract when he turns 18 in January.

PSV Eindhoven starlet Zakaria Bakkali is expected to sign a new deal with the Dutch side.

The 17-year-old, who was linked with Arsenal and Manchester City during the summer, has emerged as one of the brightest young prospects in Europe.

According to talkSPORT, the Eredivisie outfit want to extend the forward's contract past 2015 when he turns 18 in January.

Bakkali, who was born in Liege but is of Moroccan descent, has opted to play for Belgium having represented them at Under-15 level through to the Under-21s.

He scored a hat-trick in August's 5-0 win over NEC Nijmegen, which was just his second appearance for PSV.
