Italy midfielder Marco Verratti reveals that he would be open to finishing his career at Paris Saint-Germain.

Marco Verratti has revealed that he would be open to finishing his career at Paris Saint-Germain.

Verratti joined PSG from Pescara in 2012 and has made more than 250 appearances in all competitions for his current club.

The 26-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, but he has said that he would "have no problem signing a new contract" in Paris which would effectively mean that he finishes his career at the club.

"These are things I do not even talk about. I know that my agent (Mino Raiola) and the club talk to each other sometimes," Verratti told Le Parisien. "But we did not sign anything. I still have many years to go on my contract. I have no problem signing a new contract here.

"I'm 27 soon, if I sign another contract it will be for four or five years. I can finish my career here, if the club wants it. Whatever happens, I will always remain grateful to PSG."

Verratti's PSG are preparing to welcome Manchester United for the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie on Wednesday night.
