Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with Napoli forward Edinson Cavani once again.
The French champion's sporting director Leonardo met with Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis on Thursday night to thrash out a deal, according to Sky Sport Italia.
PSG are believed to be willing to meet Cavani's release clause of €63m (£53m), but will not be offering Zlatan Ibrahimovic in part-exchange, as previously reported.
It was initially claimed that Ibrahimovic would demand a move away from PSG should the club sign another high-profile forward, but the Swede is said to have expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of playing alongside Cavani.
Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City are among the other clubs linked with Cavani.
