Paris Saint-Germain in talks with Maximiliano Allegri over becoming new boss?

Former Juventus boss Maximiliano Allegri has been lined up to replace Thomas Tuchel as Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made contact with Maximiliano Allegri over succeeding Thomas Tuchel as their new head coach.

Tuchel's job is rumoured to be under threat at the Parc des Princes, despite PSG running away with the Ligue 1 title and advancing into the last eight of the Champions League.

French outlet Foot Mercato claims that sporting director Leonardo is a big fan of Allegri and wants the ex-Juventus boss to take charge from next season.

Allegri has been linked with numerous clubs since his 2019 departure from Juve, where he won four domestic doubles and twice reached the Champions League final.

The 52-year-old revealed earlier this year that he is open to returning to management soon and is happy to accept a job outside of Italy.
