Zlatan Ibrahimovic's four-match ban reduced to three

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's ban is reduced from four matches to three after Paris Saint-Germain's appeal.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had his domestic four-match suspension reduced to three following an appeal from Paris Saint-Germain.

The striker was banned due to an outburst after PSG's 3-2 defeat at Bordeaux last month, where he insulted referee Lionel Jaffredo as he left the pitch.

PSG appealed to the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF), who recommended to the French league that the ban should be brought down to three games.

Ibrahimovic had said after the game: "In 15 years, I have never seen such a referee. This country does not deserve PSG. We are too good for this country."

However, the Sweden international has since apologised, after French prime minister Manuel Valls revealed his shock.

Ibrahimovic has been with the French club since 2012.
