Paris Saint-Germain team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Troyes

Sports Mole rounds up all of Paris Saint-Germain's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Troyes.

Paris Saint-Germain's stroll towards the Ligue 1 finish line continues with a home clash with Troyes on Sunday evening.

The 2021-22 French champions found themselves 3-1 up against Strasbourg last Friday before conceding a last-minute equaliser to Anthony Caci in a 3-3 stalemate.

Despite dropping points versus Les Coureurs, the pressure is off Les Parisiens after they clinched the title last month, while their visitors are out to ensure that they cannot drop down into the automatic relegation places.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of PSG's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with ESTAC.

Lionel Messi

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ribs
Possible return date: May 8 (vs. Troyes)

PSG revealed on Saturday that Lionel Messi had been restricted to individual training due to rib pain, and he will need to be assessed on the morning of the game.

Julian Draxler

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Julian Draxler continues to recuperate after undergoing knee surgery and has already been ruled out for the rest of the season for Pochettino's side.

Leandro Paredes

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

As is the case with Draxler, Leandro Paredes is on the road to recovery following groin surgery and is not expected back with the team until pre-season.

Abdou Diallo

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: May 8 (vs. Troyes)

Abdou Diallo missed his sixth Ligue 1 match on the bounce last Friday due to knee pain but is due to return to full training this week, so he has a chance of making the cut for Sunday's game.

Mauro Icardi

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: May 14 (vs. Montpellier HSC)

In contrast, Mauro Icardi is not due to return to team training before Sunday's clash and should therefore miss out, but his thigh injury could let up in time before next week's meeting with Montpellier.

Colin Dagba

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: May 8 (vs. Troyes)

Colin Dagba was a late absentee from the clash with Strasbourg due to calf pain, but the right-back should be fit enough to apply for a place in the squad here.

PSG'S SUSPENSION LIST

PSG have no players suspended for this match, with Idrissa Gueye back from a ban served in the draw with Strasbourg.
