Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has described his team's performance in their 1-1 draw with Anderlecht in the Champions League on Tuesday as "too average".
Demy de Zeeuw opened the scoring for the Belgian side on 68 minutes, before Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the equaliser two minutes later, but Blanc was left unimpressed with his side's display.
"I wouldn't say there was a lack of desire or investment [but] we were too average in all areas," Blanc told RMC.
"We had a lot of technical errors, which hasn't happened for some time. Despite this, we still created a lot of opportunities, so we also showed some clumsiness in front of goal.
"It reminds us that before talking about a win or how many goals we will score, we have to win it on the pitch, and tonight, Paris were too average to win. I think it's a good wake-up call."
The draw leaves PSG top of Group C on 10 points.
