Vincent Aboubakar scores twice as FC Porto ease past Vitoria de Guimaraes

FC Porto get the new season up and running with a comfortable 3-0 win over Vitoria de Guimaraes.

FC Porto have eased to an opening day victory over Vitoria de Guimaraes in the Primeira Liga.

The former champions took the lead in the early stages as Vincent Aboubakar turned in Alex Sandro's cross.

Cristian Tello almost doubled their lead with a bending shot, before Aboubakar missed with a header.

The 23-year-old striker added his second after the break when he latched onto a Tello through-ball before calming lofting the ball into the corner.

Silvestre Varela made it 3-0 with a powerful near-post finish, before Aboubaker missed a golden chance with a hat-trick as he curled an effort marginally wide.
