Scott Wootton and Davide Petrucci agree to loan moves away from Manchester United with Peterborough United.

Championship side Peterborough United have signed Manchester United's Scott Wootton and Davide Petrucci on a loan basis.

Centre-back Wootton, who spent part of last season on loan with Posh, has signed on at London Road until the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Petrucci has agreed a one-month stay with the Cambridgeshire-based outfit.

It will be Petrucci's first loan spell away since he arrived at Old Trafford in 2008.

Peterborough are managed by Sir Alex Ferguson's son Darren.
