Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson recalls striker Nicky Ajose to his starting lineup for the trip to Shrewsbury Town.

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has recalled striker Nicky Ajose to his starting lineup for the trip to Shrewsbury Town this afternoon.

Ajose started on the bench for the 4-1 win over Carlisle United on Monday, but the 22-year-old returns for the visit to New Meadow alongside Conor Washington and Britt Assombalonga in the front line today.

Meanwhile, Town boss Michael Jackson has named three changes to his starting lineup from the 5-2 defeat to Preston North End last time out.

Luke Summerfield, Paul Parry and Dave Winfield all come into side as Shrewsbury prepare for the possibility of being relegated to League Two this afternoon.
