Half-Time Report: Parma pegged back by Lazio

Stefano Mauri cancels out Raffaele Palladino's goal as Lazio and Parma head into the break of their Serie A match level at one apiece.

Lazio have come from behind to take a 1-1 draw into the break of their Serie A match against Parma this afternoon.

Lucas Biglia came within inches of scoring for the visitors in the fourth minute, when his curling free kick from just outside the box cannoned back off the crossbar.

Parma then thought that they had taken the lead as Massimo Gobbi slotted in Antonio Cassano's cross at the back post, but his effort was incorrectly ruled out for offside.

The hosts continued to put their opponents under pressure and Andrea Rispoli headed wide of the target following a corner.

Andrea Costa was then denied by the woodwork, as he turned Alessandro Lucarelli's cross onto the bar.

In the final minute of the half, Parma were rewarded for their pressure by going ahead as Raffaele Palladino headed Fabiano Santacroce's cross into the top corner.

However, their lead was short lived, as Stefano Mauri headed in at the back post two minutes into first-half stoppage time to send the teams into the break on level terms.
