Oldham Athletic have confirmed that Dean Holden will remain as the club's manager until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old has been in caretaker charge following Lee Johnson's departure for League One rivals Barnsley last month.
The Latics, who are 15th in the table, have won one and lost three of their four games under the former Walsall defender.
"I firmly believe we have the capabilities of reaching the playoff places this season," Holden told Oldham's official website.
"With [the fans'] support, which has been excellent all season, we feel we can reach our targets."
Oldham face MK Dons at Boundary Park this evening.
