Former AC Milan and Rangers midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has reportedly applied for the vacant manager's job at League One side Oldham Athletic.
The 37-year-old is thought to be on a list of 120 candidates for the position at Boundary Park.
Gattuso, who earned 73 caps for Italy and won the World Cup in 2006, is currently without a club following spells in charge of FC Sion, Palermo and OFI Crete.
Oldham are currently searching for a new manager after Lee Johnson joined League One rivals Barnsley in February.
According to the Daily Mail, Gattuso has expressed an interest in succeeding Johnson as boss.
The report adds that former Chelsea and Netherlands defender Winston Bogarde is also on the lengthy list of candidates for the job.
Former West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Irvine and Iain Dowie have been also linked with the post.
