Garry Thompson moves to Notts County

Former Bradford City winger Garry Thompson pens a one-year deal with Notts County.

Former Bradford City winger Garry Thompson has moved to Notts County on a one-year contract.

The 33-year-old was released by Bradford at the end of last season following a two-year spell with the Bantams.

The veteran scored two goals in 46 games during the 2013-14 campaign.

Thompson is the ninth new player that Notts County boss Shaun Derry has brought to the club this summer.

The Magpies get their League One campaign underway with a trip to Preston North End on August 9.
