Rangers have confirmed that Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall has moved to Ibrox on a season-long loan deal.
Manager Steven Gerrard has been attempting to sign a new centre-back for a number of weeks, but the 38-year-old had been left frustrated in his attempts to add Millwall's Jake Cooper to his squad.
That resulted in the England legend turning his attention to Worrall, who has dropped down the pecking order at the City Ground due to a major overhaul of Aitor Karanka's squad.
Rangers have now revealed that an agreement has been reached for the 21-year-old to spend the rest of the campaign north of the border.
Worrall has made a total of 49 starts and three substitute outings in the Championship, although none of those appearances has come this season.
