Nottingham Forest confirm signing of Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban

Nottingham Forest confirm that they have completed the signing of Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban for an undisclosed fee.

Nottingham Forest have announced that Lewis Grabban has left Bournemouth to move to the City Ground for an undisclosed fee.

The East Midlands outfit have been active in this summer's transfer window, with eight players having already made the switch to the Championship outfit.

That has now become nine with Grabban opting to sign a four-year contract after finding himself loaned out to two second-tier teams during the most recent campaign.

During the first half of the season, Grabban netted 12 goals in 19 appearances for Sunderland before returning to the Cherries, who had hoped to sell the 30-year-old.

Grabban ended up linking up with Aston Villa on a temporary basis but despite scoring eight times in 18 outings, no permanent switch materialised due to Villa missing out on promotion to the Premier League.

Forest represent Grabban's 12th different club in English football, which includes loan periods at half-a-dozen teams.
